Geoff is The Director, People & Talent at Chelsea Avondale.

Geoff leads the group's people strategies - with a focus on business goals and creating strong partnerships, Geoff develops and manages the groups strategies that allow it to hire and retain the highest caliber candidates. He brings a strategic mindset to recruitment, ensuring both the company and candidates benefit from an exceptional fit.

Prior to joining Chelsea Avondale, Geoff played a key role at Definity, where he was instrumental in building out several departments — most notably the claims department — by leading high-impact recruitment initiatives and supporting departmental growth through strategic talent planning.

Geoff started at Chelsea Avondale as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where he helped drive the Group’s expansion by quickly identifying and attracting top talent across all business units. His efforts were key to scaling the company in important areas, as well as building out the strategy for a strong long-term recruitment pipeline to support future growth.

As Chelsea Avondale's Director, People & Talent, Geoff leads company-wide initiatives in human resources, recruitment, and onboarding. He is focused on enhancing team performance, by championing employee development and autonomy. Through his work, Geoff fosters an environment where individuals are empowered to grow, building both confidence and capability across the organization.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Arts and Business with a specialization in Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo.
